Highland Glen Park Letterbox

Highland Glen Park is a great place for people to enjoy nature without having to go up into the mountains. There is a great pond for fishing and swimming, a play ground, pavilions, a volleyball court, and a great nature trail. We often come here to fish.

Directions:
The address of the park is 4800 W Knight Ave, Highland, UT. To get there from I-15, take exit #275 (Pleasant Grove Blvd). Keep right and merge onto E Pleasant Grove Blvd. Turn left onto W 7280 N. Follow this road for awhile until you see Lone Peak High School. Turn left onto W Cedar Hills Dr. Take the next left onto Knight Ave and the park is just down the hill.

Clue:
Once you enter the park, follow the road as far north as it will go. Park in the parking lot and follow the path past the restrooms, past the volleyball court, and past the pavilion. Just after the pavilion there is a paved trail that turns off to the NE. Follow this trail. It will take you past a few benches, past a waterfall with stairs, and over a bridge. Continue on until you find a small amphitheater. On the SW end of the amphitheater (the end with the tree) you will find the box under a ledge created by the back of the rock benches.

As always, please be discreet and re-hide this box well for others to enjoy! The path is a circle so if you continue on you will find yourself close to where you started.

American Fork Amphitheater Letterbox

This is a fun and popular Amphitheater located in American Fork, UT. It is a commonly used for weddings, concerts, or family pictures, but it is a great spot to visit and walk around. It is located just west of the LDS Mt. Timpanogos Temple so for that reason this stamp is a representation of a common LDS phrase. To learn more about the LDS religion, please visit either www.lds.org or www.mormon.org.

Directions:
The address of the Amphitheater is 849 E 700 N American Fork, UT. To get there from I-15, take exit #275 and head east on Pleasant Grove Blvd. Take the 1st Left onto N County Blvd. Then turn left onto 700 N. The amphitheater will be on the right.

Clue:
When you arrive at the Amphitheater, park in the gravel parking lot just west of the entrance. Enter the park and find the large grassy area just south of the amphitheater. Walk across the grassy area to the east end. You will see a lamp post. Just left of the lamp post there is a break in the bushes. You will see a small pine tree with two big boulders on each side of the tree. Go to this spot. Just north of this spot there is a small path leading  into the trees. Walk 10 steps into this path and you will find a large tree. It has a small skinny tree growing just in front and some large dead limbs that have been cut off. The box is hidden about 6 ft off the ground behind one of these dead limbs and under a rock.

If you walk up the hill a little to the East, you will be in sight of the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. As always, please be discreet and re-hide this box well so that others can enjoy it too!!
